Cancellation Policy
At I DO, each proposal is carefully designed with time, dedication, and advance commitments to our team and partners. For this reason, our cancellation policy is structured to protect both our clients and the vendors who make each moment possible.
1. Deposits & Initial Payments
-
The initial payment is a non-refundable deposit.
-
This deposit secures your date and covers early bookings with our vendors and staff.
-
Add-ons such as musicians, videographers, florists, or exclusive elements require a 50% deposit and are non-refundable.
2. Cancellations by the Client
-
7 days or more in advance: You may cancel with no additional penalty. While deposits are non-refundable, we will work with you to reschedule or apply the value toward a future proposal (subject to availability and vendor approval).
-
Less than 7 days before the event: A 50% cancellation fee of the total package price applies. This covers vendor commitments, staff time, and logistical arrangements already in motion.
-
No-show or same-day cancellations: Considered a full cancellation. No refunds or credits will be issued.
3. Rescheduling
-
We understand unforeseen situations may arise (flight delays, personal emergencies, illness). If you notify us at least 7 days in advance, we will make every effort to reschedule your proposal at no additional cost, subject to availability.
-
Rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before the event may incur additional fees, depending on vendor availability and setup costs already incurred.
4. Weather & Outdoor Events
-
No refunds are provided due to inclement weather.
-
For outdoor proposals, please note that weather conditions are beyond our control.
-
In such cases, we will:
-
Evaluate the possibility of rescheduling, or
-
Relocate to an indoor venue provided by the client, when feasible.
-
-
In cases of severe weather where setup is unsafe or impossible, the event may be postponed. We appreciate your understanding.
5. Force Majeure
I DO will not be liable for cancellations or disruptions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or public emergencies. In such cases, we will work with you to find the best possible solution.
